Importing from a file

Many of our applications support the ability recover settings or reference data from a file, this can be very useful if you have a new smart device or if you have to reinstall Android on your smart device.

Step 1
Some of our applications use categories to help organise a group of data so you might need to choose a category first so that the application knows where you want the imported data to go.

Step 2
You will now be presented with a view of your smart device’s files and folders, select the file that contains the desired data.

Select "Finish" from the menu

You will then be presented with the importation activity which will give you a brief summary of the file you chose. Press “Continue” to start importing the file.

Step 5
You should be presented with a success message, select "Finish" from the menu. You will now be back at the Activity from where you first started the importation process with the newly imported data if you cannot see them select the Refresh menu item to update the displayed list of data.
